Don't be fooled! The old DVD X Copy you see being promoted is almost 2 years old, won’t copy at least half of the new titles out now because of new copy protection schemes, doesn’t come with any tech support, and can't even be activated many times. You're throwing your money away. The company that made this software '321 studios' it is out of business and there are no updates to be had.

DVD X Copy software WAS quite excellent in the past and probably would have been our number 1 or 2 choice. However because of the recent lawsuit regarding DVD decryption, 321 Studios had to take out their decrypter from all their products, and subsequently went out of business You can get great DVD copies of any DVD movie and excellent customer support for less than half the price if you choose our #1 Choice: 1Click DVD Copy. If you don't mind spending the extra money, get DVDXPlatinum which is basically todays version of DVD X Copy Platinum.

Usability:
DISCONTINUED: DVD X Copy Platinum is fairly easy to use. The DVD burning process is fairly easy. This is a more advanced DVD Copy program so there are some extra options which may seem confusing at first. You just insert the original DVD so DVD X Copy can 'decrypt and rip' it to your computer. Then you insert the blank DVD and it handles the rest. This software is very stable and seems bug free.
Installation & Setup:
DISCONTINUED:There is a limited number of the original DVD X Copy Platinum with the ripper included. This means the CSS decrypter is included so you can burn ANY DVD including DVD movies without installing anything else.
Copy Quality & Compression:
DISCONTINUED:With a $149.00 price tag, the quality better be good, and it is. The compression is excellent and the resultant DVDs look great.
