 | 1/6/2010: DVD Wizard Pro gets a high ranking because it makes good DVD copies, is stable, but mostly, it has the Copy Games Pro option that allows you to make a backup copy of your XBOX and PS2 games. None of our other top rated products have this feature.
This product doesn't get a higher ranking because it doesn't offer compression, or episodic support. However, if your main goal is to back up your XBOX or PS2 Games, this is your best option. There are very few DVD burning software programs with this capability, and DVD Wizard Pro is by far the best. You can also copy your VCR tapes to DVD using DVD Wizard Pro. On the down side, if you need to make sure you can copy DVD movies to 1 disc (DVD Wizard Pro does not have compression), it still may be worth getting 1Click DVD Copy in addition to DVD Wizard Pro. DVD Wizard Pro is about the same price as most XBOX or PS2 games. Make sure you back them up along with your DVD collection.

Like our other top ranked titles, DVD Wizard Pro is easy to install and use. It has many of the most useful DVD copying functions but it can't compress movies so they'll take two discs to record. In addition, there is no episodic support so you can't record DVDs like 'The Simpsons season 1' (episodes).- Game copy backup (PS2 / XBOX)

About mod chips: All game copy software for PS2 or XBOX requires a mod chip. Don't be fooled. It's an extra $50.00 expense, but it's the only way to play a game copy. DVD burners can only write the DVD in one direction. XBOX and PS2 games are DVDs, but they spin in the opposite direction. There is no compression, so copy quality is excellent. You will need two DVD discs to copy most DVD movies.
