 | 4/6/2008: Clone DVD is fairly good DVD Copy software. It has a built in CSS decryption which eliminates the need to get a free 3rd party decrypter for first time use. It can copy any DVD movie or episodic DVD, but can't copy to dual layer (DVD-9) discs or compress them to fit on a standard single layer disc (you'll need two DVDs per movie).

Features:
Clone DVD features include the ability to remove all the extra material. This may allow you to copy just the uncompressed movie onto one disc. There are several advanced settings to allow you to customize what goes onto your final DVD. We can't give this software a high rank because it lacks the ability to compress a normal DVD movie onto a single disc.- Copies all kinds of movie DVDs including episode DVDs

Usability:
Clone DVD isn't as easy as it should be. It isn't as user friendly as our higher ranked titles.
Installation & Setup:
The installation is easy. Since the CSS decrypter is built in, this saves the step of downloading a free CSS decrypter from the web. The software stability is questionable. We've had a few reports that at the copying step (about half way through) the software hung. There was probably a hardware conflict with that computers' DVD burner. We have not experienced the problem.
Copy Quality & Compression:
Quality is excellent as it should be. There is no compression, so it's simply a 'bit for bit' identical 'clone' copy.
Minimum Requirements:
- Windows® XP/2000/98/ME
- Processor (CPU) A Pentium II 300 MMX or equivalent
- 64meg memory
- 10 GB FREE hard drive space
- At least 1 DVD-R(W) or DVD+R(W) Drive
- Blank DVD Media DVD-R(W)/+R(W) Discs
